The adopted cats that eventually get ignored by their owners for some reason.

I look up to you
with adoring eyes
and a loving heart.
Do you not see me?

I will love you unconditionally
and without reservation with
every fiber in my being.
Do you not see me?

I’ll be a friend and a
companion for my lifetime
and for all eternity.
Do you still not see me?

If you do not see me, how can I ever love you
unconditionally when I’m only a thing for
you to just keep around for the sake of it?
Do you not see me?


I have now come to the realization,
I am living in obscurity within this house
because you no longer see me.

There is a sadness which
now lies within my heart
crying because you are not being able to.
