Corona-Safe Christians

Let's start by saying that, although Amazon stocks just about anything, it does not stock blood of Jesus.

This blog is inspired by a news story observed earlier this evening. Apparently a church somewhere in the United States decided to hold regular services in spite of warnings and regulations that warned against large groups of people congregating, and that is what congregations do, they congregate.

According to many people interviewed after a service at this church, they were not worried about the corona-virus. Several of them stated they were covered by the "blood of Jesus" which would protect them from disease. My initial thought was, "That is an absurdly stupid comment to make."

But, after second and third thoughts, I wondered. Is this the answer? Blood of Jesus?

So, doing what any modern man of some technological experience would do, I signed in to my Amazon account. A search for "Blood of Jesus" was disappointing. There were many related books, songs, DVDs and so forth related to my search, but no literal blood of Jesus. This was the first time Amazon had let me down.

Perhaps an E-Bay search tomorrow will be more successful.
