just a warm happy feeling

Life is Good

It’s early, the family of magpies are warbling to get me awake
The warmth of the sun filters through the small gap in the curtains
The clock ticks over to 5.06
My senses are slowly rising after an evening of wine women and song
She stirs next to me and mumbles
And Life is good
