PROMPT: You choose the topic, but... You will write a lipogram poem. A lipogram is a writing that doesn't contain a certain letter or letters. Your poem cannot contain the letter E anywhere (except in this part, which you are to post in your item).

Music's an art in which all play a part.

A vocabulary of sound that is common world round.

Singing from souls, humanity kindling song's coals.

Although many may hark, awaiting songs from the dark.

Myths songs impart, occasions sapid and tart,

of history bound, from our common background.

Words happily flowing lay traditions to growing.

Sagas built upon words, oft drifting as do birds.

Mournful and slow, with a stolidly flow,

or vibrantly quick, with a clock's constant tick.

Rhythm surging onward, pushing thoughts forward.

Crowning the lyrical, proclaiming it musical.
