The nectar

Starting the morning

It is early, and the sun is starting to peek out. We get in our cars, and yawn as we head to our destinations on autopilot.
As we arrive at work, we shuffle into the break room, waiting our turn.
Tick, tick, tock, goes the clock. Drip, drip, drip, stream, goes the machine.
Slow-brained and bleary-eyed, we are waiting for the nectar.
