I woke up Monday morning; I decided to make a change.
Lately I've been so gloomy; I'm done with feeling all that pain.
Everyday's a struggle; It's time to make today a blast.
I can hardly bear it; I need to get going fast.
I move my feet; So fast, today I bounce
Out the door; I take off on a run
But I can hardly; Wait now
See; There's my sunny friend.
Why bother with; All the gloominess
Life; Has turned to joy.
