My Friend

A poem written for my wife and best friend who knocked on my door 20 years ago today.

My Friend
Through all the good times and bad
We’ve shared both happy and sad,
Weathered some storms, enjoyed the sun,
Face hardship together, as well as the fun.
With you by my side, we’ll last to the end
And take what life gives us together my friend.
