Directions
Sautee bacon in a large
pot (should be big enough for soup). Cook until it gives up its fat,
about 4 to 8 minutes. Stir in onions and cook, stirring, until they
start to turn translucent, about 4 to 6 minutes. Stir in the garlic
and cook until you can smell it, about 1 minute. Add the broth,
tomatoes, ketchup, Worcestershire, and chili powder. Stir in the
beans, turn up the heat to higg and bring to a boil. Adjust heat to a
slow simmer, cook for 10 to 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and
pepper.
