"In The Romanian Moonlight"

Silhouetted against the Romanian moonlight, two figures in black scaled up to the roof of an abandoned factory.

"I haven't free climbed since Afghanistan," said one of the men breathlessly as they crept towards a broken skylight. The breathless one studied a hand drawn map while his partner produced a length of climbing rope out of his bag.

"Is there a reason we couldn't use GPS?" he asked while his still silent partner tied off one end of the rope to a steel smokestack before dropping the other end through the skylight to the floor below.

"Couldn't risk the location being intercepted, this rendezvous is too important." The silent one finally whispered as he inspected the floor below.

"And when are you going to tell me who this asset is?" The other man said, folding the map it into his back pocket.

"Don't worry, everything is in place Sam. Now I'll go first, you follow once I give the signal. And be careful."

"Not my first rodeo Rick."

Sam climbed down the rope while Rick waited above. Once Sam was safely on the floor he signaled with his flashlight and Rick followed. Rick stood for a moment, gaping at this enormous, desolate place and wondered who or what they were supposed to find. Sam silently signaled Rick to follow and on the pair crept, until they came to a breaker. Sam threw a switch and a series of Christmas lit up and revealed a table in the corner, with a prepared meal and a bottle of champagne on ice. Sam then produced a small remote out of his pocket and hit a button as Edith Piaf began filling the air with "La Vie En Rose". Sam turned to a speechless Rick and took him in his arms.

"Happy anniversary love."
