King of all the Snails

Somewhat slimy, slow moving and simply silly.

Caratacus Philemon Gastropod was the king of all the snails,
Rumour even had it that he had successfully battled whales
His slime it was the slimiest and his shell was made of gold.
And Caractacus the mighty was the bravest of the Bold.
For speed there was none could match him, at a hundred miles a year.
His enemies were scattered before him, and all of them knew fear.
Magnificent and majestic, on each horn he wore a crown,
And never, not before or since, has a snail had such renown.
