*Wake up America*

In today's society, people are more asleep than ever before. They're walking around in a haze, daydreaming, trying to navigate their way through life with their eyes closed. They're too busy to see the big picture. Too caught up in worldly pleasures, to even realize what is actually happening. People are living in a fantasy land. They're becoming numb, growing accustomed to this new way of living, that they can't even see the harsh reality of it all. In short, this world is being rocked to sleep by the enemy, and they don't even know it.

Wake up America!
Open up your eyes!
Don't let the enemy,
catch you by surprise.

Don't fall into his trap,
don't you dare give in.
Satan is a liar,
deceiver of men.

This world is too busy,
to see all the signs.
But maybe the devil,
has brainwashed their minds.

It's okay to just breathe,
slow down for a sec.
Stop, and smell the roses,
don't stick out your neck.

When the noose is hanging,
blowing in the wind.
The adversary's up,
to his old tricks again.

So take a look around,
evil does await.
Preying on it's victims,
and staying up late.

Hell's mouth is opened wide,
ready to swallow.
It's pits engulfed with flames,
darkness will follow.

Demons ordered to strike,
when you least expect.
Be sure to stand alert,
and don't you forget.

The weak are his target.
Their souls he will steal.
Bound for eternity,
It is a big deal.

But there is a way out,
It isn't too late.
Don't let the enemy,
determine your fate.

You don't have to die lost.
There is still a chance.
You must free your mind from,
Satan's evil trance.

He has the world confused,
blinded by his lies.
But all will come to light,
open up your eyes.

Don't be fooled by deceit,
or pleasures of life.
And don't get too busy,
to notice such strife.

For when the devil is,
following your trail.
Don't give him a reason,
to think that you're frail.

We were all yet sinners,
heathens in God's sight.
Unless we come to Him,
away from the night.

We can't serve two masters,
can only love one.
So which one will it be?
My choice is done.

The choice was simple,
I opened my eyes.
No longer am I a,
part of his device.

Satan did have me bound,
locked up in his chains.
Defeated by darkness,
but than I switched lanes.

I came out from the world,
repented my sins.
Been baptized with Jesus,
now I'm a new man.

Filled with the Holy Ghost,
and striving each day.
To make Heaven my home,
oh Lord, I do pray.

You too can be set free,
from the devil's grip.
Do all of the above,
and believe in Him.

Just call out to Jesus,
let Him be your guide.
Your saviour is waiting,
you don't have to hide.

God is the Defender,
He will stand and fight.
Protecting His children,
every day and night.

So drown out the noise,
focus on the word.
Take out your shield of faith,
just trust in the Lord.

And when darkness attacks,
when anguish creeps in.
Don't think for one second,
that you can't defend.

With Jesus by your side,
evil won't prevail.
The enemy will run,
and tuck in his tail.

With the Lord as your strength,
the Bible your sword.
Your next destination,
Is to move forward.

But don't be overwhelmed,
don't follow pursuit.
Keep your eyes on the prize,
Spirits of the fruit.

Ask God for discernment,
In a world that's gloom.
A world that's perverted,
and already doomed.

Jesus is coming back,
be ready my friend.
So keep your eyes opened,
til' the very end.

Dear Lord,
I pray for all of those that are lost. Who's eyes have been closed by the enemy. Those who continue to walk around in darkness, even when all of the signs are clear. Please God, I ask that you wake up the sleepers. All of those innocent souls that have been deceived by the devil. Jesus I pray for my country, for this world as a whole, and ask that you will bring this evilness to light. Lord, open up the blinded eyes, let them see the adversary, and all of the snares that he is laying. Give them all a fighting chance, a chance to repent, to come out from this world, and separate themselves from Satan's bonds. Jesus I know what your word says, that we can't serve two masters, and Lord, I know that you're giving us all a chance to choose. Please God, I pray that everyone will make the right choice, but I know in the end, it's their choice to make. And God, I know that you're a gentleman, and will never force anyone to love you. You have given everyone freewill. Thank you Jesus. I know Lord, that I (myself) am not saved, not until I hear those pearly gates click behind me, but I ask that you help keep me on the right path. I know I'm not perfect, and I fall short of your glory. I still have a long way to go. But God, I pray that you'll help me be a better example, for my children, my husband, and everyone else around me. Help me Jesus, to let your light shine through me, and to be as Christ-like as possible. To me, that's what it takes to be a true Christian. Am I worthy of that title? I don't think so, but Lord, only you know for sure. And if not, God I ask that you'll help bring me to that place where I can be. Thank you Jesus, for never leaving me, for never forsaking me. I know I don't deserve you Lord, but you love me regardless, and I can't thank you enough. You'll never give up on me, and so the least I can do is live for you. To spread your word, your truth, and your love. To reach out to those that are lost, and help bring them into your presence. And God, I pray that you'll let more of your people step up to the call, and try to help save this world. Help others come to the light, and defeat the darkness. Lord be with us all. I love you. In Jesus' name... Amen.

*Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole Armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the DARKNESS of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole Armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. And take the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the WORD of God; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak*
