Another Love

A poem about having another love

I knew that it was ending I could feel it in my heart
The way it felt like tearing apart
I didn't think that I could move on,
For there wasn't any light to shine upon
It was a dark hole that I was in
I couldn't seem to win.
Another love for me I know can wait
For you are my one and only fate
I was down in the dumps
My throat had a big lump,
tears would fall
With you I had it all.

There's another love for me
everybody lets you know
In my heart I can't let go
The love we shared was strong,
I knew it was where I belong
If you could only give me one
more chance
Where I know that our love
will take its stance.

For with you my light shines bright
Now its dim and, you're not in sight
Another love I sure don't need, its
only you my heart will bleed
There is so much we don't know about
love
One thing we do know that it comes
from God above
Where we know another love awaits
at heaven's holy gate.
