My life as of now

Loneliness is a shadow that follows me everywhere
A silent companion that no one else can see
Loneliness is a hollow feeling in my chest
A constant ache that never lets me rest

Loneliness is a voice that whispers in my ear
A reminder of all the things I fear
Loneliness is a wall that keeps me apart
A barrier that blocks my heart

Loneliness is a prison that holds me captive
A sentence that I cannot escape
Loneliness is a curse that I cannot break
A fate that I cannot shake

But loneliness is also a teacher that shows me the way
A guide that leads me to a brighter day
Loneliness is also a challenge that makes me grow
A test that helps me to know

That loneliness is not forever, it will fade away
That loneliness is not the end, it will lead to a new beginning
That loneliness is not who I am, it is what I can overcome.
