A reminder to notice what surrounds us on our journey
[Verse 1]
Did you ever pause to watch the beauty
Of a road on the side of a mountain?
Do you ever think to appreciate
The life with which we're surrounded?
So many flowers in a garden
Did you ever stop to smell one?
So many trees on the roadside
Have you ever slown down to observe one?

[Verse 2]
As you go from Point A to Point B
Do you see all that lies between them?
Wild roses bloom on the shoulder in May
Would you even know if you've seen them?
If most of the Earth just melted away
Do you think you would even have known it?
Don't wait till you meet the end of your life
To realize that you've blown it

[Bridge 1]
Live this life before it's over
Don't wait till you're any older (3x)

[Bridge 2]
Remember when you felt the wind in your hair?
Remember when you felt the breeze?
Remember watching leaves just dance in the air?
Remember waves on the rolling seas?

[Chorus]
This life is so much better
This life is so much more
So stop and smell them roses
Like you've never done before
Don't waste the many miles
Spent driving to and fro
It's what we see that counts
And not how far we go

[Outro]
Yeah it's what we see that counts
And not how fast we go
