The Guitar Player

On strings of space and time He plays His songs,
Creating stars and planets from the notes,
That rise in chords to float above our heads:
Appoggiature systems filled with life.

We listen to each planet orbiting,
In love's embrace its own vibrating star,
Hear the rise and fall of their intercourse:
The chorus of each planet's forms of life.
