This is my third Shakespearean sonnet. This came to me today. It seemed rather good. |
Though I go out through masks of pain to see The fears and terrors of a thousand skies Though I have changed my world, they stare at me The irrepressible one, Troubledyne This mask doth seek to hide the pain within Through bloody, mangled, help of love divine The word that I seek not to say is sin Withal, I seek to live, and live sublime This sun, it holds respite from pain I seek Though high on sin, and holpen brothers so I will not die, but then begin to reek For who will share his brother's darkest glow I came to seek, but now I fain be sane The pain I sought was trapped within my brain |
