A sonnet based on the age old question, if you could have any superpower, what would it be
“If you could have any superpower…”
A question oft asked of nerds such as me.
Telekinesis. What else could it be?
With but a thought, I could pick a flower
Or take out the trash without any toil.
And I could lift myself through the sky!
That’s right; with but a fleeting thought, I’d fly!
With such power, evil plans I could foil!

But unlike my favorite superheroes,
I would not don any tights, capes, or cowls.
This telekinetic in plain sight prowls.
From anonymity I’d hunt zeroes
Who would dare to prey on the weak and meek.
They’d never know the enemy they seek!

Let’s be real. The truth is nothing to fear.
With such power, I’d grab another beer.
