The fifth-grade class let out a collective “groan!” Johnny bit his upper lip. He hadn't paid attention yesterday, too excited thinking about this weekend’s camping trip with his dad. Mrs. Linden handed out the quiz to the fifth graders. "I'm setting the timer for three minutes," she said as she turned the knob. "Begin." Johnny looked over the questions and lifted his pen. Johnny chose B: I think you made the right decision. The timer dinged. The bell rang. Johnny hurried out of the classroom. His dad would be waiting out front.
