The beauty of the moon



Each and every moment

Of each and every day

My mind wanders the stars

My thougts skim through principles

Looking for something useful to say



Tonight it travels to the sun

It lights up my inspiration

Keeps me from my sleep

Makes memories where experiences haven't been

And pulls me from the deep



Only rarely it visits the moon

The blue under my eyes can testify

But even though it is the sun

That lights up the sky

The brightness of the one

Would fall in vain

And have to make room

for the beauty of the moon
