I don't like the cold. I should go somewhere warm.
I could be somewhere warm. Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Thailand... Even an onsen watching the snow monkeys frolic would be better. Hell, a sauna in Finland would suffice and no matter how frigid outside... it couldn't be colder than sitting on this here bench. My butt's frozen.

I wish there were birds. The smart ones fled last month. I should have joined them. Those that have stayed must be holed up somewhere warm. I wish I were holed up somewhere warm. With someone to talk to. I'm not very good company, I admit; but, sitting here alone is worse.

Sure wish I had money for a coffee. I don't want to beg but Callie would pour me one if I put on my sad-sack face. I don't want to beg.

I should go for a walk to warm up my stiff muscles. The cold seeps in regardless of how I bundle myself up. Frank gave me this coat. I wish he were here. I'd chat with him if I thought the dead could answer. I feel his presence sometimes. On bad days he's near. Perhaps this isn't my day to join him.

The clouds are breaking up. A bit of sun would be welcome. It won't warm me but might cheer me up. Ah... the snow is starting to sparkle. I'll just sit awhile and watch the show. Yes, I should go. Just not yet.

Frank always tried to cheer me up. I always told him to stop. I miss the way he would nag me to get me out of the house. Now I don't have one.

I don't like the cold. I should go somewhere warm.
