This poem is about not to judge a person before getting to really know them. |
Judge Me Not/Judge Me Judge me not for I choose not to drink, As it is an anchor of the evil tempter to make me sink, Judge me not for I choose not to smoke, As it is like a deadly snake’s coils causing me to choke. Judge me not. Judge me not for I choose not to fall in line, With society’s folly so if I do, I shall suffer a morality decline. Judge me not for I choose not to be manipulated, By a system of corruptness forcing others to become subjugated. Judge me not. Judge me based on the pure love within my beating heart, A love shared with my savior which shall never be torn apart. Judge me based on the true spirit of strength within my soul, A spirit that with my Savior’s love, the devil shall never control. Judge me. Judge me based on the compassion for which I show towards others, The same kind of compassion Jesus shows towards lost sisters & brothers. Judge me based on the path of righteousness which I choose to follow, For I look forward to a bright, promising, & glorious tomorrow. Judge me. Written by: Jason L. Anderson |
