For seven years Alex shared a cell with a child killer who’d never revealed to the police where he’d hidden the body, that was until he told Alex.
In return for an early release, Alex betrayed him, secure in the knowledge the killer would never be released.

A blade slashed across Alex face, blinding him. Blood poured from the deep gash. One inch lower and he’d have been blinded forever. Frantically he attempted to clear his vision only to see a shadowy figure holding a bright light in front of his face. The shape seemed familiar. Surely it couldn’t be…
