A friend who took his life

A heart full of sadness I feel tonight
A tortured soul has lost his fight

He felt alone even in a crowd
He tried so hard to make us proud

A life he felt was not worth living
The boy I knew was always giving

His protectors failed him this is true
His mother abused him and no one knew.
