The 24th letter

Dear The StoryMaster and The StoryMistress -
         I hope this letter finds you doing well. I just wanted to write to you and let you how much I appreciate this community you've created. The people here are so welcoming and nice. They treat everyone with respect and courtesy. The inclusion of every genre that is available to a writer is available here. There is a sense of anonymity here that helps those of us who are introverts, or those of who aren't use to sharing our lives.

This community has become a home and a place of safety for me in my writing. I can write whatever I want whenever I want and just about however I want. I like the emojis and expression of different icons that you've created. The fact that we aren't limited to just one normal font. We can write in whatever you offer. We can write how large we want and be as dramatic as we feel we need to be.

I found WDC 9 years ago. I'm not sure how, I think I was researching how to write a romance and stumbled here. I'm glad I did. This small town girl from Wewoka, Oklahoma has been trying to figure out who she is as a mother, an author, and quilter. This community has taught me a lot about writing in different forms and genres. Through the time I spent with Game of Thrones, it's taught me to think outside the box in terms of prompts and how to manipulate them to what works for me. The classes I've taken WDC University gave me an overview of the books I'm currently writing. The classes I've taken House of Sensual Prose have helped me to develop the relationships necessary between the characters I've written about. I've come out of my shell in this community and I'm glad I have.

My dream of being published has somewhat come true in that I share what I write with those in this community and I can get constructive feedback on it. I am looking forward to being published in the future and this place will have helped to achieve that dream.

I'm looking forward to seeing what this year has in store for the community. We've seen a lot of people here that have passed on, some have just moved on from here and all will be missed.

You've got a really great thing going. Keep up all the hard work. Thank you for the opportunity to write and share and review and just have fun in a safe environment. Thank you for all the changes for the better you all make and the badges that are created are so cool.
