Sample, needs tweaking, please advise.
Plunging down to the Earth at the speed of a comet, a giant mechanised robot crash landed on the streets of Washington DC amongst a hellacious war zone, the road fragmenting beneath its gargantuan frame. Towering at twenty-six meters high, it lurked amongst nearby buildings scanning the area, until it locked onto the White House in the distance. Its paleness almost unrecognisable, it glowed orange when it reflected the blasting lights of firearms and explosives, the signs of a near conflict.

“Omega, confirm you receive this transmission.” a female voice echoed throughout its cockpit.

“Affirmative, Darla, loud and clear.” Omega responded.

“Hold still while I remotely configure the mech-suit.” Darla advised via the transmission.

In Omega's cockpit, the visual interface screen was littered with hundreds of external commands emerging in a downward pattern, mean while heavy Russian armaments were almost concealed in view, and seen moving amongst the hectic background across Omega’s peripheral. Outside of Omega’s target range, jeeps, tanks and mobile anti-aircraft guns were identified, increasing support for the White House 's siege.

" I detect semi- automatic weapons under enemy fire," Omega reported to Darla as a cascade of ricocheted bullets from its titanium body. The stationary sentinel was entirely surrounded by Russian operatives, hiding behind burnt- out vehicles and protected from damaged buildings ' debris.

“Establish heat signatures on the sources of all incoming fire, await further instruction!” Darla commanded.

“Affirmative”, Omega acknowledged, as it initiated a scanner that illuminated orange and red silhouettes of enemies, able to penetrate through buildings to identify nearby life-signs.

“Vitals are good, auxiliary functions operational, combat and targeting systems are calibrated. Permission to engage hostile enemies!”

On Darla’s instructions, Omega a Gatling gun its right arm in the eyes of the attackers, then rotated immediately at blurring revolutions and sprayed gunfire on all nearby threats. Russian soldier’s violently vibrated by the sheer force of each round that pierced and passed through their bodies before dropping to the floor. Rounds that did not make a hit between targets caused small clouds of dirt to protrude off the debris covered streets. All hostile heat signatures had faded in consequence to Omega’s retaliation.

“These controls feel tighter in this ‘Hyper Realism Simulation’. Vibrations feel almost..-.”

"Omega focus! This may be a training exercise, but even a hair touched on the head of the president will lead to disciplinary action for the both of us. Failure is not an option!"

“Affirmative, Darla.”

" Listen! The White House is completely pinned down, you have to break the offensive perimeter of their siege to reach the President. In light of the anti aircraft units I am disabling use of jet thrusters for an areal approach. You’re free to use any other use of force necessary to reach her!”

Left to its own devices, Omega launched missile launchers to open from it's shoulder compartments and proceeded to the White House with long steps to cover greater distance in each step. When Omega reached the perimeter, the attention of the invaders was immediately drawn to it. A large tank lining the front fence and the gate first noticed, swung their cannons around. Before they could engage, a monumental hammer- fist obliterated the vehicle into a heap of scrap and caused the treads to snap in response to the sheer pressure they came under.

As the comrades of the obliterated tank crew were about to avenge their fallen brothers in arms, a flurry of missiles danced in the air, Omega's launchers sent them screaming and ended triggered a serenade of blasting explosions, one tank exploding after another, each missile striking with one second pause between themselves.

The front of the White House was cleared, foot soldiers ran, either choosing to run to support the siege further into enemy lines or away to the war-torn city. Proceeding on double time, Omega strived ahead and on its path encountered an anti aircraft weapon. It sat blasting relentlessly to catch American jets passing overhead. Russian soldiers caught a fright by suddenly witnessing it roll across the White House lawn as if it were a toy, after being kicked by the large titanium boot of Omega.

Arriving at the White House, steel shutters were protecting the windows, while a small company of American soldiers outside fought bravely using the building itself as cover, taking bolder actions towards the enemy following Omega reducing what were previously overwhelming odds. Russian foot soldiers continued to invade, wearing full body protection and state of the art rifles. Soaring above, U.S and Russian forces were caught up in in a heated dog-fight.

“Destination reached, Darla.”

“You’ll need to locate the President inside, security shutters are down. Omega, she wears a pacemaker, identify and extract!”

“Scanning now.”

Omega started surveying the inside of the White House using a scanner, a dark blue view with human signatures being identified in a lighter shade. No one met Darla’s description initially, so Omega circled the building continuing its search, until it finally found a match, someone wearing a pacemaker cowering under what appeared to be an office desk.

“Hurry Omega!”

“Target confirmed, commencing extraction”, Omega slowly pressured its left arm through a window, gradually bringing bricks crumbling down in the process, and gently engulfed the person President within its hand.

“Omega, watch out, jet incoming!”

In the distance a Russian fighter jet screamed into view, firing multiple missiles directly at the White House. Clasping both mechanical hands into its chest and turning away, Omega shielded the President from the attack.

“Report! Omega! Is the President safe?!”

“Affirmative, President is unharmed, damage is level critical! End simulation” Omega reported as a flashing red alarm took over its viewpoint.

“Omega, I’m so sorry!” Darla uttered while tears audibly heard muffling the transmission.

“Darla?!”

“It’s not a simulation Omega, that is the President of the United States, and you’re our only hope!”

Following Darla's plea, the transmission became distorted, another frequency had hijacked the communication line, then a male tone was heard, the sound of a throat being cleared came through the audio channel.

“Project Omega, this is General Joseph McClarence. You’re under instruction to rendezvous two miles South-West, to the Pentagon. It is imperative you move immediately we have detected a large anomaly on our map heading your way. Reinforcements are on route to provide covering fire, do not compromise the safety of the president by engaging the enemy unless absolutely necessary.”

“Affirmative”

Omega glanced down to its grasp and saw the president looking back petrified, with a hand over her chest trying to stop the heart from pounding so rapidly. The attack inflicted significant damage to Omega’s back, breaking the wings, distorting structural rods leading up its spine and exposing wiring. In raising onto its feet, Omega struggled to establish an upright position with a right sided slant, and kept the president close to its frame, preparing to conceal her from danger at a moments notice.

Sluggishly following on screen coordinates to the Pentagon, Omega’s an alert on screen brought the machine to a complete standstill outside the Jefferson War Memorial, requesting it to prepare for an assault. Browsing through it’s arsenal, missile launchers appeared offline as a result from the aerial attack, leaving the Gatling Gun as the only method of offence at its disposal.

“You’re being stalked, whatever’s out there is hunting you, it’s closing in. Hold it off until our people are able to reach you.” General Mc-Clarence informed.

With Omega’s back turned, a large synthetic object lurked out behind the memorial building, a bionic wolf bearing gleaming red eyes. The president gazed across at it and gasped, triggering Omega to turn around just as the bionic wolf leaped into the air. The attempt to take Omega by surprise was missed by a millisecond, the wolf immediately came under gun fire and use its agility to jump side to side to avoid damage.

When the wolf saw a moment of opportunity, it lunged wide open to Omega's head with its metallic jaws, only to find it bitten down on the left forearm that guarded the intended target. The wolf crashed to the ground from a powerful swing of the arm, quickly regained position and directly tackled Omega into the memorial building.

Marble and granite cascaded on Omega's head, the collision also lifted the Jefferson statue out of its foundations, and fell to the ground closeby. The president laid safe in the fetal position, protected by a titanium clench. Seeing Omega as a vulnerable foe, the wolf crept up methodically, taking time for it’s systems to analyse the potential areas to detect the weakest area of attack. The wolf’s eyes shone two piercing red sights on Omega’s exposed jugular and pounced to land a killing blow.

When the wolf committed to launching itself in mid-air, Omega quickly reached for the memorial statue to the side and swung at it with brute force. The assault sent the wolf outside and tumbling down the stone steps, its head split open into two and teeth jagged from sustaining multiple breaks to the mouth.

The wolf regain its four footing as if undeterred, Omega immediately locked-on ready to start battle again. Without warning, explosions suddenly surrounded the wolf’s location, giving it no choice but to retreat to escape certain annihilation. Once the blasts had stopped, propellers were heard rotating over the memorial, and a new voice surfaced on Omega’s audio channel.

“This is T-Hawk and to that poor little pooch below I have to give a shout-out! Ouch! Lord have mercy.” a man’s voice said amongst the noise of the propellers in the background.

“T-Hawk, this is General McClarence, excellent job. Escort Omega back to the Pentagon ASAP!"
