Together, we are life and love. (not following specific rules of poetry or grammar)

We are life
Life is selfish
It gives us only so many hours
To experience itself
We could climb up a mountain
Or jump out of a plane
But instead we choose
To laugh at another movie
Or get lost in a video game
It may not be much
Or exciting all the time
It may be ordinary
Or stuck on repeat
But I'm thankful
Because life is us
And we get to experience us
Together
How lucky
We must actually be
To have each other's hearts
Endlessly
Life is love
Love is us
