Gratitude and Requests For Sobriety

Creator,

I come to You today with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for guiding me through my first day of sobriety. Thank You for the strength to take that step and for the clarity to see its value.

I am deeply grateful for the connections with friends who genuinely want the best for me and who remind me that I am not alone.

Thank You for the chance to be present for a newcomer, a moment that showed me how my presence matters in ways I never realized.

Thank You for the gift of awareness, for the wisdom shared by others in recovery, and for the ability to see how these lessons can transform my life in practical ways.

Thank You for the return of my appetite, for the food that nourished me, and for the shelter that kept me warm and safe. These blessings remind me of Your care and provision.

Creator, as I face today, I humbly ask for Your guidance to stay clean and sober. Walk with me and direct my heart and mind along the right paths. Help me resist the pull of old habits and find strength in the promises of this journey.

Grant me a sense of purpose, Creator. Show me what You would have me do today, and help me trust in Your plan. May I use this day to grow, to serve, and to honor the gifts You have given me.

Thank You for this new day and for the opportunity to move forward in faith and hope.
