A poem about David of the Bible: February Scripture Poetry Contest |
| He was known as a shepard boy Who took his duties to heart Not frail, not timid but strong For he took down a giant they say. Happy, his people were filled with joy. He had a flare for writing Poetry he could pen and sing Encompassed for us in his Psalms He told us all about our creator, our Lord This was more like his nature than fighting. David, truly honored and people showed their love They selected him to be their earthly king He was guilty of sin as many of us are But he loved the Lord, prayed, and prayed For guidance to serve our Lord, our true king of kings above. King Jesus has selected King David to rule again when his returns. Word Count: 127 Lines: 16 2/2/25 |
