Rosa's sister is expecting a baby, but it's not what anyone thinks.
My sister's in the hospital, carrying my new niece. I can’t believe I’m going to be an aunt! And I’m only twelve years old!

Will she call me Aunt Rosa? Or just Rosa?

I can’t wait!

My sister's face twisted in pain as the midwife pushed her belly.

"Hold on, sweetie," my mom said, holding her hand.

While my sister screams, the baby, no — twins pop out!

But there's one problem. One of them doesn’t look human.

I look up at Mom, seeing confusion and panic etched on her face.

"Doctor, what's going on?" she asks shakily, looking up at him.

"I'm not sure," the doctor confesses. "I've never seen this before."

The baby's green with goo coming out of her mouth. The goo gets all over me and mom.

Then she roars, her eyes nearly popping out of her sockets.

Did my sister just create a literal monster?

"Rosa, what is this?" Mom demands.

"I'm afraid I haven't been honest with you," Rosa finally says. "I've been seeing a monster. I didn't want to tell you. The twins both have different dads."

"What?" Mom gasps.

Before anyone else can respond, we start hearing giant footsteps.

"Here he comes now!"
