A Pi for a Pie

An apple pie …
yummy!
A classic American icon.
Yes …
just like baseball and Chevrolet.
A staple at picnics on the Fourth of July
along with
hot dogs and homemade potato salad.
Whether baked in your kitchen,
or a bakery,
or in a grocery store,
this perennial favorite makes a deliciously wonderful dessert
most any time of the year ... including Thanksgiving dinner.
And it is easily dolled up with
whipped cream, caramel sauce, cheddar cheese, and of course …
vanilla ice cream!
