chapter two of playing charades in which mogi meets theresa the angel.

Chapter 2: Mogi’s adventure
When he woke up, Mogi found himself inside a very nice room. the bed was lined with silk, light shone through the stain glass windows revealing a picture of a dove, a snake, a dragon, an eagle, a hawk, a fox, and a turtle. Mogi looked around in front of him sitting on a chair, was a girl. “Wait, no.” thought Mogi, “that’s an angel.” He started to stand up, but again, he was chained. “Not again.” He said. “Let me get that.” Said the angel, she unchained him, and he sat up. “My name is Theresa.” Said the angel, “I was assigned to protect you; Móguǐ zhīzǐ.” “Please don’t call me that,” said Mogi, “it reminds me that my life has been a lie since I was first born.” “Then what should I call you?” asked Theresa “call me Mogi.” Said Mogi, “it’s a terrible reminder to know that my name means ‘son of the devil’ in Chinese, so I really prefer Mogi.” Theresa seemed confused, but she shook it off, and gestured for Mogi to follow her. “We have to go soon,” said Theresa, “at night, the power of Satan is stronger.” Mogi started to stand up, but then he felt a horrible pain in his head, like a hammer banging on it from both the inside and the outside. He collapsed onto the ground, clutching his head in pain. Theresa ran over to help him, that reminded Mogi of Lilac, stopping him before he had touched the flame, and from remembering, his head hurt even more. Theresa tried to help him stand up, but failed. “I’m fine,” he told her. And as soon as he said it, the pain disappeared. Mogi stood up, and walked out the door. “What was that?” he thought, “was it a repercussion of using Satan’s power?” since he was thinking while walking, he ran straight into Dragona. “Watch where you’re going Akuma!” she said “Dragona,” said Palona, “stop it.” For some reason, Mogi just wanted to punch Dragona in the face, or argue back. “Tenshi” he said, and walked past. “That wasn’t an insult,” said Dragona to Palona, after Mogi left, “that was a compliment.” “Not if you’re from the other place.” Said Palona. Dragona now was suspicious of Mogi, but Mogi had no time to worry about that, he walked through the castle following Theresa, and they came to the door. “I guess this is it,” said Mogi, “the start of what is sure to be a painful journey.” They both went out the door. The order of the mask gave them a covered wagon. It was full of useful things, like; holy water, a Taser, a bible, and of course some food and water, blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, And a fire extinguisher. “So, Theresa,” said Mogi, “how is it possible that I’m Satan’s son?” “Oh, that’s mostly just a figure of speech.” Said Theresa, “it means that you are his heir.” “That doesn’t seem better. wait Mostly?!” Said Mogi. “don’t worry,” said Theresa, “it is.” Mogi and Theresa followed the map that Palona had given them, and came across a small town. As soon as they arrived, and went in, a man ran over to them. “Please help us, Angel!” said the man “don’t worry,” said Theresa, “we have come to help you.” “Oh, thank you!” said the man, “thank you so much!” “Mogi,” said Theresa, “let’s go!” “Wait,” said the man, “this is dangerous work, you should not come young man.” Mogi rolled his eyes. “On the contrary sir,” said Theresa, “this young man is capable than you think.” “Ok,” said the man, “then follow me.” He led them to an abandoned barn. “This used to be our best barn, until the night when the flames appeared.” Said the man, “it’s been here for three years, and whenever someone goes near it, they go crazy!” “I see,” said Theresa, “I would recommend that you leave sir, to avoid any unwanted consequences.” The man left, leaving Theresa and Mogi alone with the flames. “So,” said Theresa, “I need to lay down some rules. First, wait for me to prepare before you touch the flames. Second, make sure you don’t look directly at the flames, or it’ll use trance-inducing magic, and force you to touch it. Finally, if I can’t change you back, I’ll resort to calling the masked order, and they’ll lock you up for at least a week, until they can find out how to control your power.” “Ok.” Said Mogi, “I’ll try to remember all this.” “Good.” Said Theresa, “now, stay here. I need to grab some supplies from the wagon.” Then Theresa left. “I guess I’ll just wait.” Said Mogi. “Why not just give in?” asked a voice. “who’s there?” asked Mogi looking around the barn. “I’m surprised you don’t recognize me,” said the voice, “after all, I am the one who protected you from Satan all these years.” “Luke?” asked Mogi, “I thought you were gone!” “No,” said Luke, “I’ve been here all this time, but your angel guardian has been keeping me away.” “Why?” asked Mogi “I do not know,” said Luke, “perhaps she did not want me to help you in this difficult part of your life.” “Theresa wouldn’t do that,” said Mogi “are you sure?” asked Luke, “after all, she did keep me away.” “How can I prove to you that you’re wrong?” asked Mogi, “and that Theresa is trustworthy?” “Touch the flames,” said Luke, “if Theresa comes back perfectly in time to save you from Satan, then I’ll admit that she is trustworthy.” “And if she doesn’t?” asked Mogi sounding scared “then I’ll save you from Satan, and I’ll help you escape from the masked order.” Mogi thought for a minute, he didn’t want to transform again, but if it made Luke trust Theresa, he was willing to do anything. “Ok.” Said Mogi, “I’ll do it.” He walked over and grabbed the flame. He changed into a demon. And just in time, Theresa came back. “Mogi!” she said, “what happened?!” “The boy followed a questionable influence.” Said Satan, “and now, you die.” He lunged at Theresa. He bared his fangs, and raised his claws, and scratched her. Then a fire burst in his hands, and he threw it at Theresa. “From the heights of heaven I say to thee” Said Theresa, “begone from this world forsaken Demon!” she made the sign for warding off Evil, and Satan changed back into Mogi. “Mogi!” said Theresa, she rushed over to him, and helped him up. “Mogi are you ok?” she asked him “yeah I’m fine.” Said Mogi. “Good.” Said Theresa, then she slapped him in the face. “you idiot!” she said, “I specifically told you not to touch the flame!” Mogi stood up and walked away from Theresa. “It’s not like I wanted to!” Mogi replied, “I just needed to prove something to him.” “To who?” asked Theresa, “Satan?!” “No!” said Mogi, “to Luke…” then Mogi Collapsed. “Who is Luke?” asked Theresa. She took Mogi back to the wagon, and put him in the back with the blankets, Pillows, sleeping bags, and fire Extinguisher. Theresa put the Bible, holy water, and Tazer in the front where she was sitting. “Mogi,” said Theresa, “what have you been up to?” in the back of the Carriage, Mogi was tossing and turning in his sleep, Theresa was worried about him, but there was nothing she could do about him; she had to drive the carriage. In Mogi’s dream, he was falling down a deep hole, and when he finally landed, he was in a strange house. He looked around. On the walls there were pictures of fire, on the floor was a vintage black carpet. The wallpaper was black with red diamonds. Mogi seemed to be in the living room. there was a black coffee table, and a black couch. “Where am I?” then a person walked into the room. he had red and black hair with a vampiric hairstyle, a black suit, and black shoes, with red eyes. “Hello again Mogi.” He said, “how fortuitous.” “Luke!” said Mogi, “oh I’m so glad to see you!” Mogi ran over and hugged Luke, who hugged him back. “How long has it been?” asked Luke, “three years, or two?” “Two and a half.” Said Mogi, “I’m so excited! Now you can meet Theresa!” “Mogi,” said Luke, “did you forget?” “Forget what?” asked Mogi “that as long as she is near, I cannot visit you in the physical world.” Said Luke, “as she is an angel, and I am a demon.” “Right,” said Mogi, “but I wish you could visit.” “Me as well.” Said Luke, “perhaps, I can.” “How?” asked Mogi. He really wanted his friends to meet each other. “I’ll need your help.” Said Luke “with what?” asked Mogi “I need you to distract Theresa until I can find a hole in her protection sphere.” Said Luke. “I can do that.” Said Mogi, “just one question.” “What is it?” asked Luke “how do I distract Theresa long enough for you to get in, but not long enough for her to get suspicious?” “you’ll figure it out.” Said Luke, “now quick, you have to wake up!” Mogi shot upright. He realized he was in the back of the Wagon, Theresa was driving, and Mogi was practically drowning in pillows and sleeping bags. He climbed into the front and sat next to Theresa. “Oh good.” She said, “you’re Awake. Now you can tell me who Luke is, and what you had to prove to him.” Mogi almost didn’t want to tell her. What had she done to be worthy of knowing? Then Mogi remembered that Theresa had Saved him multiple times. “He,” said Mogi, “is one of my childhood friends.” “Then why would you have to prove anything to him?” asked Theresa, “and how is he near here?” “When I was younger,” said Mogi, “no one would be friends with me, they thought I was scary. So, I accidentally summoned a demon. He became my best friend.” “What?!” said Theresa, “is he the Demon that’s been following us since we left the castle?” “Probably,” said Mogi, “he is a pretty Loyal friend.” “he’s a demon!” said Theresa, “they are only tricksters and liars!” “you’re wrong!” said Mogi, “he’s the only one who would actually go near me when I was younger, and I owe my life to him!” “Why!?” asked Theresa “because he saved me when I was almost possessed by Satan the first time!” Mogi Burst into flames. But this time, his hair was black, instead of multi-colored, his Eyes were cold and demonic, and his demon Tail was black with hourglass designs. “This is strange,” said Theresa, “who are you?” “Why, Luke of course,” he replied, “though, I suppose you know me as Lucifer.” “Why have you come?” asked Theresa “because Mogi allowed me to. After all, he owes me, and a plethora of other Demons.” Theresa started reciting the incantation that wards off Evil, but Luke stopped her. “Do you really think such a puny attack will stop me?” asked Luke, “think again.” Theresa grabbed the Tazer, and Luke used his tail to flick it out of her hands. Then, Theresa hesitated. She was scared to think what would happen to Mogi if she used this next attack. But she knew she had to do something. She grabbed the holy water, and splashed it on Luke. He screamed in pain, and changed back to Mogi. Theresa caught him before he fell out of the Wagon. Then he woke up and quickly sat up. “Luke!” he shouted. “Easy,” said Theresa, “you transformed twice today, just try to rest.” “where’s Luke?” asked Mogi “he’s gone,” said Theresa, “he possessed you, so I had to do something.” Mogi looked sad, so Theresa tried to cheer him up. “You do know he was Lucifer, right?” she asked “of course,” said Mogi, “he told me, but he isn’t the real-” “Then why would you still befriend him?” asked Theresa “I didn’t” Mogi replied, “he befriended me, and so many others did too, I owe them all.” “I’m worried about you.” Said Theresa, “the backlash of using the power of demons, especially multiple in one day, drains your energy greatly.” “I’ll be fine.” Said Mogi, “after all, if I get too out of control, the masked order can just stop me…” then he passed out. Theresa put him in the back of the wagon, and continued driving. Along the way, they almost ran into a person who was walking on the road. “Sorry!” said Theresa, “are you ok?” “Yes fine,” said the person, “I was just looking for someone, and I got lost.” “Who were you looking for?” asked Theresa, “maybe I could help you look.” The person smiled. “That would be nice,” they said, “I’m looking for someone named, Móguǐ zhīzǐ.” Theresa gasped, then glanced at the back seat, Mogi had disappeared! “Where is he?!” Theresa asked the person in front of her, “did you take him?!” “I did not,” said the person, “if I had, you would know.” “what’s that supposed to mean?!” asked Theresa, desperately searching through the pillows and blankets, for Mogi. “he’s gone!” she shouted, “how could this have happened!?” she started panicking, then the person in front of her calmed her down. “Calm down.” They said, “I’m sure Móguǐ is fine. Unless,” “unless what?!” asked Theresa “Unless,” said the person, “he is with his friends on the other side, his friends, in the demon realm.”
