Another Day I don’t have time for this. I’m supposed to be cleaning Janie’s room, that was my plan. I had the house to myself all day. They will all be home by five, off with the grandparents and my hubby. I was invited of course, but weighing going along and trying to be social all day, or having the house to myself for a few hours… Well! So, anyway, my plan was to do the regular housework update, a spit and a promise at least. Then I wanted to tackle Janie’s room. She’s a little kid, but big enough to spew toys everywhere. She also likes to pick out her clothes for the day, and we encourage her. But her method is to pull things out and then if she decides ‘not this one’ the ‘this one’ ends up on the floor… or worse crumpled back in the drawer so next time it comes out it’s not wearable without some ironing. We’ve talked about it, many times, but she forgets… She’s still just a little kid! Anyway, I started the regular house pick up, which always involves vacuuming due to two dogs and a cat who all seem to shed twenty-four seven if you ask me… And they also sneak things in quite often then lose interest in them and leave stuff for me to find. Usually, some smelly thing that’s stuck wherever they were when something more interesting came up. Then I started for Janie’s room, but saw my own bedroom on the way… No wonder she thinks it’s fine to fling clothes everywhere! She must have inherited it from her father! I stopped to pick up just a bit… And now it’s four thirty! I don’t even have plans for dinner yet! Yikes! So goes another day… |
