A Rondeau is a French form of poetry, 15 lines long, consisting of 3 stanzas: a quintet, a quartrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbR. Lines 9 and 15 are short – a refrain ® consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer.

My heart is full of Grace
Often overlook’d by today’s fast pace.
To breathe and slow, to find peace
Is to find time for that release
Giving thanks is not a race.

Prepare your heart, not the chase,
Food and flower fill a warmhearted place.
Sincerity will never cease,
With a heart full of Grace.

Friends and family gather, fill the vase!
Hearth and heart, welcoming lace.
Time well spent with sweet caprice.
Sense of peace gives kind lease
A finger raised only to delicately trace
A heart full of Grace.
