In this section, we begin exploring Noah and his role in the story’s intricate tapestry.

***Your life might be a disaster, but every single second is a new chance to change the direction for the better.***

Noah tried as hard as he could to open his eyes; the labor involved in succeeding in this task felt like Sisyphus trying to move the boulder up the mountain. Finally, he was able to fully open his eyes, but he did not like what he saw. It was a dark, foreboding room. Out of the corner of his left eye, he saw a man in light purple. Noah started to shake with fear. "I don't understand. Where am I?"

"Noah. You tried to jump from a 6-story building. Upon impact, you broke both of your legs, among many other serious injuries, and you are now in critical condition."

"So, I'm at the hospital? Can you at least show yourself? What kind of doctor are you?"

"No, I can not. I am not a doctor, and you are not at the hospital, Noah."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

"Noah, you tried to kill yourself. You are hanging on by a thread. You have one of two paths you can go on from here."

"I already know what path I want to go on, so leave me the hell alone!"

"Noah, before you speak with such certainty, please hear me out. I know you have lived a difficult life..."

"No! You don't know my life! You don't know about the molestation, the beatings, the..."

"Noah, I know about everything. It has been incredibly difficult, as I said, you have two choices, and I will not judge regardless of the choice you make. You can choose to give in, right now, or you can choose to enter back into your body, down below. I can not tell you what awaits the first choice, as that is not my realm. But I can assure you, prior souls are bound to that region for eternity.

The second choice will also be tough; it will be hell on earth, and you are in for a long, arduous recovery where long-term success is not guaranteed. But let me part with this advice," the man in light purple said as he slowly started to fade away. "Every human has the potential to make something of themselves. You chose to give up on yourself at the moment you decided to jump. You can finalize that and give in to that defeatist attitude and die right now, or you can give it another go down there and try to positively impact those around you, somehow, some way. Your life has been shit, but your story could touch thousands or even millions...."

"How do I turn my life around if I lack the skills to do so?"
