Merit Badge Magic - February Theme I

Write a short story or poem about a new love. Non-fiction or fiction. Short story: minimum of 1000 words; poetry: minimum of 30 lines.

Let's be fair and square.
Get right to the point.
The air is full of
love. It's delightful
to make someone's day.

Love is very sweet; it can't
be beat. When you get
out of your seat, it's a good
treat. Find the best way to greet
her. When you finally meet,
be sure to watch a movie
at the theater. With words
not yet spoken, it would be
fine to express yourself as
a token of your friendship
and devotion. Your love toward
her is a commitment to
cherish her in many ways.

She's the woman of your dreams.
You will ask her to marry
you. The proposal will be
made in a kind and loving
way. It has to be special.
You have to sweep her off her
feet. She has to feel that love
is in the air. It is a
time to declare your love. When
she says yes, give her a great
big hug that she'll savor in
her memory.
