Seeing the vanity of the person you thought you loved.
Why must you think you’re better than them?
You have always acted this way,
How could I think you’d be different now?
How could I think you would change?

Remind me again what I saw in you,
I can’t seem to remember it now.
Well, the world is a stage and you act like a fool
Now it’s your turn to take a bow.

You’d like to think that you broke my heart
But, my dear, that just isn’t so.
It’s time for me, now, to walk away,
And I wont look back as I go.
