a silly litte poem inspired by some hearty chicken soup...and some Richard Brautigan
Memoirs of a Chicken Soup Spoon

My first spoon slipped
into the delicious darkness
of the chicken noodle soup
I tried to retrieve it,
but it reached a temperature
too hot to bear...
...so I embarked on a quest
and frantically searched
to find another soup spoon...
and I divided and conquered!
And I later found my two spoons
happily sitting
in my now empty soup bowl...
and I was satisfied
