Fairy Dreams by Janice Engle (Age: 50) copyright 09-04-2003 12 Ratings - Ave: 9.42 Age Rating: 1 to 9 Picture Credits: Fairy Dreams One night when I was in my room twas time to go to sleep I heard a sound and looked around to see what I could see Outside my window sill I watched beneath the moonlit night Little funny fairies playing it was such an awesome sight They were tiny little people with pointed funny ears shoes that curled upon their feet and aged beyond my years Some had wings and flew around while others laughed and joked and some were very fat and green and from their nose blew smoke Some looked cute and friendly and some looked very weird and others sat and chanted while some of them just jeered To my surprise one did appear upon my window sill she sprinkled me with fairy dust I thought that I'd be ill "Don't be afraid, my dear sweet child, There's nothing here to fear! Come with me and have some fun we'll laugh and dance and cheer!" So there I was in fairy land among the wee folk fairies and as we played a wand was waved and a bowl was filled with berries I ate the berries sweet and blue and watched the others play they sang and laughed and played the flute and danced the night away When morning came and night had gone I was a sleepy head I found that I was all alone upon my comfey bed. by Janice copyright 2003 |
