As I lay in bed restlessly
Thoughts of you cloud my mind causing me pain
I burst into tears knowing you will never love me
Knowing I'm going to be alone forever
Without you...

I glance into the darkened mirror
Then cover my face in shame
Even my silhouette is repulsive
I welcome the darkness around me
Hiding my pain and weeping

My thoughts drift...
Love filling the emptiness
Smiling and laughing together
Everything so different
New and flourishing
Your arms holding me
Please never let me go
Feels like falling all over again...

Striking the ground ricochets through my body
Unable to move, unwilling to try
Lifeless and cold on the rain-soaked earth
The horrible pain causes me to shudder
Tears are flowing with the rain, like the rain
Love is torture when you love alone
Alone... without you
