Seeing yet Unseeing

My eyes are unseeing,
Yet I see all for what they are.
I look upon your person,
And know you better than anyone.

Though I do not see with sight,
I see with heart, spirit, and soul,
I gaze upon your heart,
And see what lies within.

One closest to you may know
You for many years to come.
But none shall know you as well as I,
For I see what lies inside.

I know your soul, heart and spirit,
Nothing can you hide from me,
My eyes are unseeing,
And yet, I still see.
