This poem is about how a depressed man thinks of death.
I’m gonna run for miles
But never make it
I’ll keep tryin’ hard
Always fakin’
I might as well give up
How can I do it?
It always makes me shiver
I will never, ever fit
Never gonna reach that river
I have to admit

I’m drownin’ in my tears
Into a bottomless pit
How will I ever go on?
I gotta quit
The war is hard and I am tired
Will I ever hit…
The end of my life
Like lickety split
Never gonna reach that river
The coldness finally bit
