The Blessing From God Above

My heart has been filled with joy overcoming pain.
The first time I saw you I knew I wouldn't be the same.
My life has changed and now things don't seem as dark
You've blessed me with hugs and smiles uplifting my fragile heart.
If only you knew how much of a blessing you really are in my life
I think about you everyday and automatically smile when your in sight
Inside I want to tell you how I honestly truly feel
But, I always hold back from the fear of landing myself in tears.
I dream of you in my arms and calling you my girl
Get lost inside your smile when we're together and forget about the world.
I'd like nothing more then to be able to be by your side
To be there when you need someone to talk to about all the hassles of life.
I'll do my best to make things right and show my heart is true
and if you'll ever be sad i'd be right there to comfort you
Whether it would be a shoulder to cry on or someone to share a laugh
