Poem for an Angel

This is a poem about an angel I've been in love with since the 5th grade...

An angel sent from heaven,
Has made my life complete.
Her beauty is unrivaled,
And her voice is honey sweet.

Before I met this angel,
Love was an elusive dream.
And when I looked into her eyes,
I was mesmerized by the gleam.

And when she is nearby,
There is no one else I wish to see.
I'm a slave to her beauty,
And I don't want to be set free.

When stricken with hellish grief,
I know she will be there.
And when I feel agonistic pain,
I know she'll give me care.

She's painted my life rosy,
And erased the dismal gray.
Miracles definitely happen,
She proves it every day.
