My Christmas card to you

Two months have passed since I last saw you, I wonder how you've been keeping?

Two months have passed since I last saw you.
Recently I explained how I felt,
and your reply was your photo by email.
Does that mean I have to be content with just a photo?
I wonder how you've been keeping?
You know I'm here if you need me, but you don't call.

You need to stay alone and reflect,
The times together we cherished.
If I don't hear from you by Christmas, I'll know you've decided.
So before we part, I'd like to send my Christmas card to you.

May Christmas bring you love and serenity,
and hope for all mankind;
And God be generous and help you,
in whatever problems you may find.

I'll be here beside you, like a baby in a manger,
ready to give out my hand to you,
if ever you're in danger.
Please remember I'll always love you,
even if we're not together.

I only want the best for you,
So I sadly agree to go our separate ways.
Leaving inside us the happy memories of the past,
to guide us in our future choices.
