For 30 years a reader of literature, anthropology and archaeology. I have a deep fascination for the vital interface between the elements and indigenous peoples from hundreds of millennia ago right up to today where we still permit them to live intact with their natural environment. As a result I have written a series of short stories imagining an elemental and timeless spirit of the land, or a placeless spirit outside of any age owing much to that evolutionary origin of a vital human consciousness, and how that might take possession and speak through various characters in a variety of contemporary situations.
