I've worn several hats through my life, from Preacher to Linux Systems Administrator, Security Analyst, and now I work in cyber threat intelligence. In all these careers I've been driven by two things: first, the need to fix broken things, and secondly, the need to fix people. I try to make people a better version of themselves. This may mean I make them better sysadmins but either way I try to leave people better equipped to face the world than when we met.
