Howdie! my name is Dean and I live in Manchester in the United Kingdom. I enjoy writing immensely and write poems and short stories. The subject matter ranges from satirical to horror but I don't overdo on the gore. I also read a lot ranging from thrilllers to literary classics. Authors I especially enjoy are John Irving of which I share a quirkiness with in my work, as well as George Orwell, Stephen King, Tolstoy, Thomas Hardy and Charles Dickens.
