I have been a counselor in a correctional facility for nine years. I was a special ed teacher for the ten years prior. I have poetry published in THE SAGE. I have written and co-written scripts for The Water Carnival, a local community show. They were submitted and chosen out of other scripts. This was a paid project. I am a participant and have won two years of NaNoWriMo. Writing is my passion and therapy.
