I am discouraged by humanity. You may even say that I am disappointed (yes, with myself also; especially with myself). But I do have hope. Writers like Henry Miller, Dostoevsky, Celine, Bukowski, and Hugo give me realistic faith in Man. Artists like Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Seurat are my inspirations. People that I have never heard of are my heroes.
