I am an English teacher in the very east of England, the flat lands called the Lincolnshire Fens. I teach at a community college, where pupils come and go in the most deprived circumstances. We try to make English exciting by using all kinds of prompts and ideas to get even the most reluctant writing - sometimes it works, others.... Outside school I have a smallholding with sheep, pigs, geese, ducks, chickens and four mad cats. We have three 1960's Land Rovers, which are a challenge to drive and live the outdoor life as much as we can. My particular love is poetry so scribble at all times, then spend hours editing!
